Principle Clinical Psychologist Specialising in Trauma and Somatic (Physical) Health.

"It doesn't hurry. It knows that the deep work takes the time it takes... and now the iris has bloomed, it will never again be just a slender green stem in the mud."

The Blue Iris, Mary Oliver (2004)

My Approach

I believe that healing requires both depth and direction.  Often the work can start in the stillness using CBT to identify patterns and ripples in your thoughts.  By calming these surface waters, we can gain the clarity needed to do the deep work of examining the roots below.

Psychodynamic insight enables you to understand the impact of your past. The CBT strategies help you emerge and thrive in the present.  Our work will honour the mud, plant the seeds and allow the bud to grow. I use third wave CBT to enhance the work, such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Mission Statement

"My mission is to provide a restorative space where the stillness of the mind meets the wisdom of the body. By understanding the roots of trauma and its connections to somatic (physical) health, we enliven a journey.  My aim is simple when we honour our foundation and take the courage to look deep, we more than survive—we thrive."
